"The series „World Wide Sky“ by artist Dogan Dogan, born in Turkey in 1967, with its largeformat patchwork paintingsinterprets the sky over cities all over the world, each of the works representing of the 24 time zones. For his pieces of art Dogan Dogan fabrics, which his mother had collected over many years, and which by their expressive colourfulness and texture mirror the individual light impressions of the sky. With his works, he demonstrates the possibility to create something entirely new by reuse, recycling and reutilisation of materials. Dogan Dogan lives and works in Berlin."

Doppelblindtest / Gereon Krebber und Oliver Möst
Galerie Axel Obiger
Brunnenstraße 29
D-10119 Berlin
http://www.axelobiger.com
Berlin
Ends 09.10.2010
The exhibition 'Double Blind Test' takes a clouded look at the world. However, even when the eyes are shrouded the artists manage to capture space with their very own possibilities and means, using their hands if not their entire bodies. Somehow the spaces of the world, psychological or real, may be researched from an artistic perspective more successfully in this way. Eyes disappear into the mouth and hands and body take over the investigated acquisition. Results of such tactile deliberation wedge once into sculpture beneath the ceiling or are retained as short performative processes on video. Fuzzy regions and breaks in the order of space are precise, patient and humourous protagonists of a treacherous attack on the breaking points of our finely constructed world.

sublime work with oscillating light. Ivonne Dippmann unveils outdoor
wall works and Kati Gausmann draws the subtle traces of Kleidung.
Laura Napier’s public interventions and David Sherry’s cheeky

Enda O'Donoghue - Is Feeling Lucky!
hunchentoot - Galerie für zeitgenössische Positionen
Choriner Straße 8, 10119 Berlin
Tel: +49 (0)30 41 72 54 30 | Email: kontakt@galerie-hunchentoot.de
http://www.galerie-hunchentoot.de
Gallery opening times: Wed - Fri 4pm-7pm, Sat 11am-6pm
Berlin
Ends 16.10.2010
The images in Enda O’Donoghue’s paintings all come from the Internet. They are all other people’s images, digitally found images. Searching through popular online social networks and blogs on an ongoing basis, he compulsively collects and catalogues photographs that he finds. The photos which he works with are most often the throw-away shots which otherwise gather digital dust buried away on hard-drives, camera chips, mobile phones or uploaded and then lost or forgotten someplace on the Web. With each image he paints he is meticulous about tracing the ownership and requesting permission, partly as a way of dealing with the anonymous nature of the Internet and also a reaction to the issues surrounding online privacy and copyright.
Enda O’Donoghue is an Irish artist who has been living and working in Berlin since 2002. His work was recently featured at the 2010 Expo in Shanghai and in 2009 he had a solo exhibition in New York at the Irish Arts Center.

Universitas, Roland Fuhrmann
BTU Cottbus
Konrad-Wachsmann-Allee 1
or entrance Karl-Marx-Strasse
in front of the new library by Herzog de Meuron
About Roland Fuhrmann
http://www.berlinerpool.de/?profiles=Artists&id=127
Germany - Cottbus
Ends 22.10.2010
From now on new work of Roland Fuhrmann can be visited, which is permanently installed in the entrance hall of the main building of the Brandenburgian Technical University of Cottbus (art-and-construction). It is open week-daily and around the clock (night doormen).
"UNIVERSITAS - Light-Orbiter
diameter 2,20 m (7,35 ft), 40 solar cells, created 2007, realized 2009
A blue ring turns slowly in space. With changing beam of light flares its iridescent surface from silicon crystals. The light-weight construction embodies pure function and associates airship structures and outer space habitats. Noiseless weightlessness dominate the scope. The light orbiter decelerate the speed of light into a contemplative orbit and transfers it as positive load to the viewer."

New (art) Economy - MassimoToffolo Ltd
http://www.factory-art.com/
Berlin
Ends 30.10.2010
People talk about sex when they don't make it enough and about money when they don't have it ... Indeed as said good old Oscar Wilde: "When bankers get together, they talk about art. When artists get together, they talk about money." Guess why...
The idea of Massimo Toffolo that every day in his warehouse studio produces art because he needs it.
The current project of Massimo Toffolo, designed and painted on large canvases post-it, as the stories of the series "The Rumanian rider", was created directly on the canvas without afterthoughts, finally the way is open: why "justify" a product? It's the man who counts. The art is going forward, the market is going forward and the idea of blocking everything and shift into reverse has never worked. So go forward! The market doesn't wait ..

Can one fragile object, in times of email, chat and mobility, pass one time all around the world safely – from hand to hand, charging itself with stories and people? Will it be the same when it returns?
For the project, more than 750 artists from all over the world work together in one same action: all will carry one fragile object step by step around the planet.
The journey of the object and the works the artists will conceive during the project will be communicated on the website and in regular newsletters.
