"Berlin based artist, Reynold Reynold’s will be building his film set and filming his latest work “Six Easy Pieces” in one of MMX’s unique rooms where the public will be encouraged to get a behind the scenes look of his production and filming process.
The screening room will be showing Achivo video_dumbo curated by Caspar Stracke & Gabriela Monroy, presenting over 35 video works from international video artists. Canadian artist Daniel Wilson will build an interactive media installation. Darri Lorenzen from Iceland is creating a custom installation and there will be a motion sensitive drawing machine by Patrick Timm from Germany..."

"Berlin based artist, Reynold Reynold’s will be building his film set and filming his latest work “Six Easy Pieces” in one of MMX’s unique rooms where the public will be encouraged to get a behind the scenes look of his production and filming process.
The screening room will be showing Achivo video_dumbo curated by Caspar Stracke & Gabriela Monroy, presenting over 35 video works from international video artists. Canadian artist Daniel Wilson will build an interactive media installation. Darri Lorenzen from Iceland is creating a custom installation and there will be a motion sensitive drawing machine by Patrick Timm from Germany..."

"Memories, dreams and desires are expressed in the seemingly archaic works of Susanne Ring. Under the title VERHOLZEN (LIGNIFICATION), she combines her figures and images into a large wall ensemble. The title refers to a paradox: the process of lignification involves the death of cells and their transmutation into a resistant but dead material. This transformation is fundamental for growth and ensures ultimate survival.
Painter Christiane Ensslen lives and works in Weimar and has been invited by Galerie Axel Obiger as a guest artist. Her title “From Another World” refers to her childhood experiences in the DDR (former East Germany), which stand in stark contrast to the reality of her life today. She captures this tension in colourful oil paintings, in which precisely construed forms alternate with free-floating painterly compositions."

A blue ring turns slowly in space. With changing beam of light flares its iridescent surface from silicon crystals. The light-weight construction embodies pure function and associates airship structures and outer space habitats. Noiseless weightlessness dominate the scope. The light orbiter decelerate the speed of light into a contemplative orbit and transfers it as positive load to the viewer."
