"The peripheral world just outside the installation space at 'Apartment Project' is subjected to abstraction; familiar images and details from the street refract as they ooze through the windows of the project space only to be reconstructed anew. After taking a 'closer' look around Canevi brings together a series of details he had recorded through a playful equation,creating a colourful new world. Finally the artist sees this refraction as a metaphor for the meddlesome outside world's inevitable intrusion on the inside."

"One goes to school, goes back home, travels, improvises. Sooner or later, goes to the doctor. One praises or condemns the world or aspects of it and has an intimate view on life. And that is all just fine. Hierarchies are temporal and various and, at the end, things tend to be mingled together. In my drawings, I also bring together in combination without loss of individual characteristics. I portray without particular subjects and make without sense. And then, I simply enjoy the gymnastics of deconstructive reading. So, I have found and work on my way to mingle."

"Berlin based artist, Reynold Reynold’s will be building his film set and filming his latest work “Six Easy Pieces” in one of MMX’s unique rooms where the public will be encouraged to get a behind the scenes look of his production and filming process.
The screening room will be showing Achivo video_dumbo curated by Caspar Stracke & Gabriela Monroy, presenting over 35 video works from international video artists. Canadian artist Daniel Wilson will build an interactive media installation. Darri Lorenzen from Iceland is creating a custom installation and there will be a motion sensitive drawing machine by Patrick Timm from Germany..."

A blue ring turns slowly in space. With changing beam of light flares its iridescent surface from silicon crystals. The light-weight construction embodies pure function and associates airship structures and outer space habitats. Noiseless weightlessness dominate the scope. The light orbiter decelerate the speed of light into a contemplative orbit and transfers it as positive load to the viewer."
