"The paintings of German Artist Julia Muenstermann feature abstracted and desolate scenes of airports, leaving the viewer with a particular feeling of enigma. These foggy representations of our otherwise highly polished, technologically advanced society, engender the feeling of passing through an international ghost town, of a supermodern metropolis.
The paintings of Chicago born artist Scott Weiner concentrate on the figure, isolating and distorting elements of the human body. These painting give free rein to fiction, through disturbing themes and bizarre connotations of sex and violence. There is a very strong interest in eroticism despite the tragic conditions these figures."

"The upcoming debut album by Arises, 'Rave is Over', is the source for this project. The musician selected fifteen artists to create new artworks inspired by the music. The participating artists come from various countries, backgrounds and contexts and were given a CD containing a selection of six tracks from the upcoming album. The artists were invited to use the music as inspiration for the creation of new works of art in response to the music...

"Sellin’s paintings seem to connect two contradictory tendencies. On the one hand they reduce elemental parts of nature i.e. a landscape, a beach, the sea, a sunset, the moon, a mountain, to their most refined essences. The motives are refined to a degree, where they render natural phenomena in what one might call its most primitive, pure or primal form. Sellin thus touches upon a possible human collective unconsciousness and memory, investigating images that seem almost universal, embedded in all human beings."

A blue ring turns slowly in space. With changing beam of light flares its iridescent surface from silicon crystals. The light-weight construction embodies pure function and associates airship structures and outer space habitats. Noiseless weightlessness dominate the scope. The light orbiter decelerate the speed of light into a contemplative orbit and transfers it as positive load to the viewer."
