Burçak Konukman
Burçak Konukman is performing artist and radio journalist lives and works in Istanbul. He worked at 2010 European Capital of Culture Agency in Visual Arts Department for two years. He won a fellowship as an artist in residency at Art Center İstanbul for two years. He produces weekly radio show “Timeless” on Açik Radio, 94.9. He partpicated in IPAH Summer Camp Workshop and Platform Young Performance Artist in 2011. His art works and performances are exhibited in international biennials, events and festivals like Sinop Bienniale, Sinopale, European Performance Art Festival EPAF 2011, Destruction 2011.
He is doing MA in Cultural Management at Bilgi University. He is content provider of MAUMAU Art Residency in İstanbul and he is one of the members of artikişler collective and Koza Visual Culture and Arts Association. He produces his artworks in his studio at Art Center İstanbul.

“There with art is pilgrim for one, me.
- a seek of engram-
A voyage, making me move with my surroundings / experience.
Therefore, language is versatile.
And miscellaneous reactios through variants,
And no limitations. Limitless production.
Living each moment with a shape, grounded by its underlyings.
shape of memory, memoir. Transdisciplinary bridges.
For me for my surroundings and all, for the better. To produce.
Ideas then projects, forms of ideas becoming forms.
A life, my life, my responsibilities for all in all forms. Considered.
